Zaha Hadid 's bridge design concept aimed to evoke the image of "a serene dancer gracefully twirling along the Tamsui River." The Tamsui Bridge truly embodies this image, resembling a leaping dancer in motion. Furthermore, the central tower and the bridge itself can be transformed into public art displays through light sculptures at special times, generating buzz and discussion throughout the seasons.
Because the Tamkang Bridge itself is an international-level public art piece.

One person can walk fast. But a group of people can go far.
It brings together the wisdom and hard work of many people both locally and internationally. Many of the hopes and explorations involved are only possible through the collaboration of people, things, land, and memories, history, and the future. The value and charm of being "together" are revealed through this important moment of opening and unveiling.
Our Team.
Director: Li Liheng
A graduate of the Department of History at Tamkang University and a Master of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from New York University (NYU), she has collaborated with over twenty international arts festivals as a producer. She has served as the artistic director of the Taipei Arts Festival three times and has seen performances in over 100 theaters worldwide. She was the general director of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo City Square Arts Festival and currently serves on the program committee for the Beijing-Seoul-Tokyo Theatre Festival (BeSeTo) and as a judge for the Shanghai Theatre Awards. She has published five books on performing arts, including *My Pocket Guide to Theatre*.
