Zaha Hadid

An Iraqi-British architect, known for her distinctive and strong futuristic architectural style, she was the first female architect to win the Pritzker Prize. Her works often use hard materials, but also incorporate curves and fluidity, creating an architectural style that balances strength and softness.

In 2010 and 2011, Zaha Hadid received the Stirling Prize, the highest honor in British architecture. In 2015, she became the first and only female architect to receive the Royal Gold Medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). In 2016, she received the RIBA Gold Medal. The London Guardian once hailed her as the "Queen of the Curve." In 2016, at the age of 65, Hadid passed away due to illness, and the world lost one of the greatest architects of this century.
